Constructing an aviary

In the African section an aviary is being constructed for Von der Decken's hornbill, turaco, superb starling, lilac-breasted roller and white-bellied bustard.

Gemsbok and ostriches will be kept together with the elephants. The gemsbok still had to be painted so that is a job I am working on now

You can't stop elephants with a small gate. Thus, the entrance to the enclosure consists of a series of gates that can be opened or closed to give the elephants access to the entire enclosure or just part of it.

Although there was already a large stable for the elephants, there was no outdoor enclosure yet. This can be divided in 2 so that the male can be kept separate if necessary. There will also be a pond and a waterfall.
