The habitat
This large habitat with a large stable has been designed for out breeding group of African elephants. Is can be devided in 2 section with the larger section for the cows and young and the smaller section can be closed off for the bull when necessary.
Both section have bathing possibilities for the animals. The cow enclosure even has a waterfall.
The indoor enclosure has a large sand space where the animals can be stay together. There are 3 boxes for separation. The bull had its own stable.
Together with the elephants we keep waterbuck, gemsbok and ostriches, these have their stables under the terrace.
